Your Creativity Matters
Creative mentorship for writers, artists, visionaries, and those called to boldly create.
That whisper you hear from within… that idea on loop in your mind… that vision reappearing in your dreams… that churn in your belly…
that’s the aliveness of creativity
calling you.
The question is: Will you say yes?
And if you say yes: Will you follow through?
The moment you say yes to your creativity, you step into the unknown—
an adventure robust in fields of vulnerability, doubt, forgetting, and remembering.
We all need support.
We need nourishment to stay rooted and aligned in our process. We need conversation and community. We need shifts of perspective and playgrounds for rattling and revision. We need rituals, routines, containers, and accountability. We need tenderness and grace for the slow spirals of process. We need encouragement and generous feedback. We need deep listening from someone who doesn’t live inside our own heads.
We all need creative mentors.
I have creative mentors. And I am a creative mentor.
Our work together supports you to connect with the aliveness of creativity and express your unique soul essence in the world.
Creative Mentorship
A container of support designed especially for you and your creative process.
3 session arc
If you have one clear question or area where you’d like focused support, a 3-session arc with sessions spaced every other week can be a strong boost of nourishment and/or an accountability nudge.
3 month arc
If you’re clear on what you’re creating, a 3-month arc with bi-monthly sessions allows space to explore your process for creating, including your containers of practice, ways of accountability, and depth of listening to the aliveness that wants to connect with you. In addition to our collaborative live meetings, I’ll offer prompts, invitations, and reflection questions for you to explore between sessions.
6 month arc
If you’d like deep and spacious nourishment to tend your relationship with creativity, including your attention to what you want to create and how you engage in creative process, a 6-month arc supports this. This arc allows for bi-monthly sessions, between-session invitations, and a dedicated private webpage with supports, additional resources, and a record of what we explore together during sessions.
We’ll determine the scope, timeline, goals, and ways of support that are most nourishing for you after we meet for a connection call. Our initial call will let us get to know each other and decide if a mentorship is a good fit for us both.
No matter what happens “next,” it will be a delight to meet you.
We begin with a connection call.
We’ll meet via zoom for 40ish minutes so we can get to know one another.
You’ll share what’s on your mind and heart related to your creativity. I’ll listen and ask questions. I’ll share possible ways we might work together. You’ll ask questions. We’ll sense into possibilities for how we might work together.
Our initial call is free.
I’d love to connect with you and learn more about the creativity you want form and share in the world.
Why work with me
I live my life in deep connection with the aliveness of creativity. I write and delight in the ordinary of my days as an expression of this connection. This is my favorite realm to teach within and I enjoy supporting humans to deepen their connection with creativity and follow their unique creative expressions.
My stellium of Mercury, Saturn, and Sun in Gemini provide me with a strong ability to create dynamic structures that hold and nourish creative process. Said another way, I’m very good with creative containers (for protection, care, accountability, attention). And I know how to help you make friends with structure and create your own containers, too.
I bring the frequency of children, play, wonder, and delight to our work together and will attune us to co-creation with the more-than-human realms around us.
Q + A
-
No. I work with you in any “stage” of your creative process, whether you’re currently listening to your inner whispers, letting something take shape, amidst growing momentum, or deep inside the muck of a project. I meet you where you are.
-
This depends on your project. I can work as a developmental editor on select writing projects as part of our work together, but only when the fit is strong. We can discuss this during our connection call.
-
Yes. This is an ideal context for us to work together. Creativity loves to be formless and find new possibilities of form. There are many ways for you to playfully explore, listen, shift, and revise as you form and unform with creativity as possibilities take shape. We’ll have such fun as you follow creativity and attune to what form/s want to emerge and express through you.
-
Although I’ve found that containers with a series of sessions (in an arc) are most supportive, I do also offer single 1:1 sessions, especially if you are a returning collaborator who wants to drop in for some recalibration or if you’d like focused support around one question/area of practice. You can bypass the connection call and email me to schedule a single session if this is best for you.
-
All kinds. I am a writer and… I appreciate multiple modes and dynamic expressions of creativity. I comfortably work in landscapes that are emergent, hybrid, blurred, transient, and simultaneous. The modes and materials you work with are less important than the nature of your questions and your intention for collaboration. If I feel your work is beyond what I can support, I’ll transparently discuss this with you during our connection call.
