Children Whole and Free
for parents, grandparents, guardians, educators, mentors, and caregivers who want to nourish a strong foundation for children to know themselves as whole and free.
As we attune to our creation of emerging, liberatory systems for our collective future, we are also living inside and between the old systems as they crumble. This makes for some challenging times in the years ahead, and it’s why our personal and community practices are particularly important right now… especially for children.
How do we attend to children in this moment between worlds?
There are many small and significant ways we can support children to stay connected with their inner wisdom, light, and joy… small invitations, small questions, small shifts in what we do (and don’t do), what we say (and don’t say), and how we listen to children.
Children Whole and Free is a self-guided course for parents, grandparents, guardians, educators, mentors, and caregivers who want to nourish a strong foundation for children to know themselves as whole and free.
This course—attuned to children, liberation, and love—offers layered content (invitations, prompts, resources) for your self-guided reflection and daily practice.
The course is designed to support you as you expand your awareness of yourself, your child/ren, and the environment that impacts how whole and free children feel they are “allowed” to be.
Through eleven weeks of noticing, wonder, and playful practice, we’ll explore how we might more deeply listen to children, attune to frequencies of liberation, and align our daily actions with our intentions.
This isn’t a course that asks you to add more to your already full plate or “improve” your parenting, teaching, or caregiving. It’s designed to meet you where you are, and trust yourself more fully, while you engage in ordinary, everyday moments with your child/ren.
Through this course, you’ll learn to:
attune to children, curiosity, love, and liberation
expand the ways you listen to children
notice how small things you say impact how children see and understand themselves
look deeply at yourself, your child/ren, and the many (mixed) messages in the world
make subtle shifts in how you engage within everyday moments with your child/ren
more deeply trust, nourish, and release judgment of yourself.

FAQ:
Who is the course for?
It’s designed for parents, grandparents, mentors, educators, neighbors, and other caregivers who spend time with one or more children on a weekly basis. The course will focus on how you listen, attune, and align your actions in support of your child/ren during the ordinary moments of a day. We’ll focus on small interactions in any context where you find yourself with a child (e.g., kitchen table, walk to the bus, reading a book, morning routine, outdoor play), and the subtle ways children receive messages from their environment.
Does the course focus on children of a particular age?
This course focuses on you and your engagement with children of any age, birth to early adulthood.
How long will it take to go through the course?
This will depend on you, but generally you can expect to spend 30 minutes at the beginning of each week to review the new questions, prompts, and invitations, and at least 5 minutes each morning to connect with your weekly intention. The rest of your engagement will take place during the regular things you do (with and without children) during your days. You’ll be invited to take notes and record things you notice, but only within what feels authentic and easeful in your context. Although the course is designed for 11 weeks, there is ample material for you to engage with over 11 months if you prefer.
Is the course material designed for children?
No, this is a course designed for adults who interact with children.
Will I receive individualized support for my child?
This is a self-guided course designed for you to engage on your own with yourself and your child/ren. The course intends to support you as you support your child. It does not provide specific advice or support for your individual child/ren. If you’d like to receive 1:1 support, you may book private sessions with me: 1:1 Support.
